studio news advertising news • Market Street Sound expands into production/location audio and welcomes Greg Rippin to our staff as Location Manager. • Damon Claus has been promoted to Studio Manager. • The 2nd expansion of 2009 is underway with the occupation of an additional floor in our building. The new offices house location audio, administration, conference, tech, and a reception area, as well as more places to hide. • A complete re-tooling of Studio C has been completed with new just-about-everything. We'll have some new pictures soon. • We scored a regional ADDY award for our original music for 9 Lives. • At this years local Addy awards, all three finalists for original music/sound design were ours and we took home a Silver ADDY for our 9 Lives score. Finalists and winners in other categories that also featured our music and sound design were Smith Brothers "Peace For Dogs" and "Vote Cat, Vote Dog", Mullen's "Harry and David", Giant Ideas "Donate Life", Engauge's NGK, and the category videos by Animal and Giant Ideas. • Actor Nick Nolte was in voicing the animated feature "Cats and Dogs 2" for Warner Brothers. • Mullen was in with a "Harry and David" TV spot and new series of "Highmark" radio. Mike Hoff producing. Original music was was needed, we scored for both. • Market Street Sound and composer Rob Deaner took home another AIR award this year in the category of Best Original Score. "Give Life Music" was created for Giant Ideas and their client CORE. • Three of the six pieces of music that were finalists at the AIR Awards were ours, Sheetz Coffee and Mon General Hospital in addition to the one mentioned above. Bryan and Gary producing. • engauge came in for a new Roomful Express campaign with 12 TV spots. Matt Haritan producing. • Eat 'n Park was for another new music score for Radio and TV, Cliff Miller producing.     music news • Work on the new "Stickers" CD has been completed.The first single "Girl in a Pickup Truck" begins airing on Froggy radio on April 2nd. • Work with local artist Maddie Georgi continues with Rob producing. • The Skell CD "Shangri LA 27" has been released. • Rob Deaner wrote the song "Jaded and Strange" to be included on the new Alyssa Suede CD "Black and White in Color" produced by David Campbell. • Mixing for the new Corbin/Hanner CD "And The Road Goes On" are complete.
