Market Street Sound is expanding! Creative Director Rob Deaner is pleased to announce that Dan Ferraro formerly of Suite Sounds, Inc. is joining the team as Managing Director. And to make sure that he feels at home right away, we are constructing a brand new studio just for Dan. Market Street Sound will expand into the 4th floor at One Market and construction has already begun. The same great people who designed the "A" room on the 3rd floor, The Sextant Group, are handling the design of the new room which will feature a large "surround sound" capable control room with two isolation rooms. more details.

"Rob Deaner and Market Street Sound have been integral to the success of The PovertyNeck Hillbillies. Thanks Rob...from all of us."
The Hillbilly Way Well, all of the hard work through the years with the PovertyNeck Hillbillies seems to be paying off! So far this year, they have signed with Rust Records in Nashville, had a national release, shot a video with the Steeler's own Ben Roethlisberger, and had that video climb to #2 on GAC. more here.

Session Notes

Giant Ideas came to us with a series of national TV spots for MyWireless.org. We provided original score and a massive amount of sound design. Working with Gary Kalinsoky and Bryan Ward from Giant Ideas, we had a lot of fun making the earth shake. |

When Mullen was planning a new series of Highmark TV and radio, who better to call than us to handle the audio. Mike Hoff and Lisa Aerisman camped out for a few weeks and together we created 5 TV and 24 radio spots. The spots feature some very funny and great actors like John Farley. We had a lot of fun with this project. Plus, it's pumpkin soup season! |

Ten United called on Market Street Sound to handle to the Sound Design, recording, and mixing for new Airborne TV commercials. We worked in conjunction with the great talent at Animal to help Steve Smith, Creative Director, realize his vision. The spots turned out fantastic, if we do say so ourselves. |

Marc USA gave us the nod to create the mix for the new Pittsburgh ZOO Spot. This was a great undertaking as we had to create a winter environment for a spot that was shot in July. With over over 64 individual tracks of sound design, 16 tracks of location audio, and 6 tracks of ADR. This was a complicated mix to say the least. We love this stuff!! |

EDMC was also in with some TV and radio spots. Rebecca Kondos producing. |
