It's A Boy!

Construction of Market Street Sound's third studio, the new "Studio C" is complete. Studio C features a large control room with two isolation booths and large windows overlooking the river. It is equipped with a large Fairlight Fame system, a Nuendo system, and a host of outboard gear. It will be the primary domain of engineer Dan Ferraro. We are very excited about the new room. The views over the rivers are great from here, oh and it sounds great too! more details

Session Notes

LaserYost asked to us come up with a new jingle for Hoss's Steak and Sea restaurants. They wanted something high energy and something that would set them apart in their market. Well, we were all pleased with the result. You can preview it here. play
Mullen came in for a new round of Highmark Corporate TV and Radio. See more about Mike above.
Giant Ideas required music for new client Prolasta. See if you can guess what it was for. play We also created some new TV and Radio for Fort Pitt Capital with Gary and Bryan. And we provide the music for their new web site. Be sure to check their site out!
An updated version of the old "Smiley" jingle was created for Eat 'n Park to celebrate Smiley's birthday. We collaborated with hit songwriters Bob Corbin and Dave Hanner on this one.
Smith Brothers visited us with a new series of Howard Hanna TV and some Del Monte "Snausages" videos. (Convenient that we had created the new Snausage Dog voices for Think 360, Inc. in New York so we just happened to have the original audio handy.)
We were also busy in the new Studio C with some feature films, "The Haunting - Try Not to Think About It" for Universal Pictures, "Drive" for 20th Century Fox, CD mastering for the up-coming release from "The Ninth Ward", and spots for Molyneux (CapsLock), Nemacolin Woodlands, PA Turnpike (Twain Marketing), and Shop 'n Save (Gatesman Marmion Drake).

Corrections

In our last issue we stated that we'd be talking about our work with David Werner on Mary Fahl's new CD. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the CD has not yet been released. We will cover that work in a future newsletter edition as soon as is legally possible.
