Dear Friends,
It has been a while since we’ve published a newsletter to inform you of all that’s been happening at Market Street Sound. And so much has happenedsince the last one that we’ll just mention a few of the highlights.
We look forward to hearing from you so please don’t hesitate to drop us a line with any comments or questions. We hope you have a great holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
Thanks!

Recent news: So, to get you caught up with our year, we picked up some awards for original music including some addys, a webby, and a regional addy. So, speaking of music, two national TV and radio spots for the American Diabetes Association featured our original score and sound design. EDMC came to us to help create a new national Art Institute campaign with original music, sound design, and post for 3 TV spots. We recorded and produced the audio for a couple of International Delight national TV spots and two national Snickers Ice Cream TV spots. Several Dollar Bank spots featured our original music. We provided a cool score for a Junior Achievement presentation video. University of West Virginia Hospital called on us to provide custom music for a TV campaign for their new cancer center. LaRosa’s Restaurant also received new original music for their television and radio spots. And more...
On the movie and TV side our busy ADR department worked with studios 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros., Dreamworks, and Goldcrest from London to name a few. We worked on feature films Eagle Eye, Bitten, An American Carol, Metoer, and national television shows such as Lie to Me, Desperate Housewives, CSI: NY, The Hills, Criminal Minds, and CNBC. We were visited by actors Stacy Keach, Nick Nolte, Kevin Farley, Missy Peregrym, Alex O’loughlin, Audrina Patridge, Lenny James, and Rumor Willis.
We completed records from The Stickers, who are getting national airplay on AAA country stations, a local EP for ingénue Maddie Georgi, and LA based Alyssa Suede (David Campbell’s daughter and sister to Beck) included “Jaded and Strange” that Rob wrote on her latest release.
On the rare occasion that we weren’t in session, we found time this past year to re-equip studio c with brand new, state-of-the-art technology. Also, we expanded into yet another floor of our building so that we now occupy three floors at One Market Street, and we extended our services to include production/location audio recording and immediately found ourselves on the set of UPMC and Dollar Bank shoots, among others. |
